Boyceville Cucumber Festival: A Big Dill in the Ville

BOYCEVILLE — With the theme of “A Big Dill in the Ville,” the Boyceville Cucumber Festival begins this Friday, August 15, and runs through Sunday, August 17.
Pickle Fest kicks off with the Kick-Off Party at the Buck-Shot Backyard at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Festival-long events include the 23rd Annual Tractor Show on Main Street, a softball tournament, food vendors, Vendors-R-US Vendor Fair on Main Street, the Golden Pickle Contest and community-wide thrift sales.
Pickle Central at the Main Street tent will feature festival T-shirts, a pickle-eating contest and general information.
Information about Pickle Fest and the Golden Pickle clues will be posted on the Facebook page daily.
Friday
Circus City Shows will be open with rides and games on Main Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday.
Boyceville Ambulance will be hosting a corn feed at the ambulance garage from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Showtime Professional Wrestling will be on Main Street.
Boyceville’s Ain’t No One Horse Town Parade, sponsored by the Boyceville Lions Club, will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday.
“Divided Highway” will be playing at the Main Street tent from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday.
Saturday
Saturday starts out at 8:30 a.m. at Boyceville Middle School with the 24th Annual Cucumber 5K/1 Mile Run/Walk.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the 15th Annual Car Show will take place on Main Street. The car show is sponsored by TMS Tire & Auto.
Bingo will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Main Street tent.
Boyceville Ambulance will have a corn feed on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Circus City Shows rides and games will be open on Main Street from noon to 5 p.m.
The bean bag tournament will start at noon on Saturday at Buck-Shot’s on Main Street.
The pickle-eating contest begins at 2 p.m. at the Main Street tent.
Also at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Cucumber Crunch Demo Derby will being at the BVFD pulling track
The tractor parade begins at 6 p.m. on Main Street.
Weather permitting, a hot air balloon rally will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Boyceville airport.
A hot air balloon “glow” will begin at dusk at the Boyceville airport on Saturday, weather permitting.
From 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, “Maiden Dixie” live music will be featured at the Main Street tent.
Sunday
From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.., the Boyceville Airport pancake breakfast will take place, sponsored by the Airport Booster Club.
The Pickletown Open, a pickle ball tournament sponsored by Kavu Coffee, will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Worship in the Tent, presented by the Faith Evangelical Free Church, will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday.
A pie and lunch social will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A trap-shoot competition, sponsored by the Northwest Rod and Gun Club, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
The Boyceville Cucumber Festival Grand Parade, led by Grand Marshals Craig and Sharon Formoe, will begin at 1 p.m.
Following the parade, “Ranger Rudy and the Swinging Wingtips” will perform live music at the Main Street tent.
The pedal tractor pull also will be held on Main Street on Sunday.
Duck races will be held at Tiffany Creek following the parade, sponsored by the Class of 2026 and BEST.
