SPRING VALLEY, WI –The Spring Valley Stagehands’ 2024 theatre season will conclude with the play Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Author Barbara Robinson’s popular and bestselling tale of the rowdy Herdmans has been beloved and celebrated since the book’s original release in 1972, and has subsequently been made into a major motion picture and play. The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, steal, and swear. So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant. Director Liz Erickson is excited to share the talents of the large cast with theatre goers! Performance dates are December 13 (Friday), 14 (Saturday), 19 (Thursday) and 20 (Friday) at 7 p.m.; with 2 p.m. matinee dates on December 15 (Sunday) and 21 (Saturday). All performances will be held at the Spring Valley Theatre. Tickets can be reserved online at svstagehands.org or be purchased as available at the door on performance dates. Come and celebrate the holidays with us!
