Senior dining in Glenwood City making changes

Starting on November 5, 2024, Glenwood City seniors have a new option for their noon meals.

My meal, my way is the new program launched by the senior center of Glenwood City. Every Tuesday through Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. seniors will be able to get a low cost meal at Wood City Tavern on Oak St. in Glenwood City.

All seniors 60 years and older are welcome regardless of contribution. The suggested contribution is $6.00 per meal with a limit of one meal per day. Contribution is confidential and no tipping is required.

How it works:

• Register or sign in with Senior Meal Program staff

• Put your contribution in My Meal, My Way box

• Choose one of the lunch options below:

Soup & Sandwich

Soup & Salad

Chicken Sandwich and Side (Grilled or Crispy)

1/3lb. Burger & Side

Daily Special

Sides: Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Side Salad, French Fries or Fruit Cup.

Milk and ice water are available with all meals upon request.
