Village of Boyceville to make offer on land for new library
The Boyceville Village Board is making an offer on land in the village for a site for the proposed new Library.
At it’s meeting a week ago the board after a closed meeting session approved a request from the Village’s Library Board to secure a parcel to allow the Library Board to apply for a grant.
Included in the proposal from the Library Board is a statement that a “grant of up to $4.25 million is available for construction of a new library, but the application for this requires site control.” The proposal also informed the Village Board “without site control this project will lose any chance at a $4.25 million dollar grant.”
