COLFAX — Incumbents were re-elected April 2 to their positions on the Colfax Village Board, the Colfax Board of Education and the Elk Mound Village Board as well as two incumbents and one newcomer elected to the Elk Mound Board of Education.
All of the candidates were unopposed for their positions in the spring election.
The vote totals are considered unofficial until the Board of Canvassers has certified the election results.
Carey K. Davis was elected to the Colfax Village Board with 127 votes, while Gary Stene was elected with 140 votes and Annie Jenson received 130 votes.
All together, 190 people voted in the Village of Colfax on April 2.
The total number of votes cast in Dunn County was 8,046, representing 34 percent of the total number of registered voters.
A total of 142 votes were cast in the Village of Elk Mound.
Cynthia Abraham was elected to the Elk Mound Village Board with 92 votes, while Patrick Lien received 109 votes and Tim Benjamin gathered 103 votes.
Kyle Lee Knutson was elected to the Colfax Board of Education with 655 votes, and Kenneth E. Neuburg received 532 votes.
Incumbent Gary Bodenburg was elected to the Elk Mound Board of Education with 603 votes, while incumbent Daren Dummer received 589 votes, and Jen Plemon gathered 551 votes.
Incumbent Mark Oas filed a notification of non-candidacy in December, and Plemon filed paperwork for the Elk Mound school board in the April election.
