ALTOONA — The Bloomer/Colfax wrestling cooperative wrapped up its regular season at Altoona High School last Thursday, January 25 by splitting a pair of duals in a Cloverbelt Conference triangular.
The Raptors opened the triangular with a 40-12 win over Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton, but lost to host Regis/Altoona 63-13. Regis/Altoona also defeated S/CC/G via a 78-0 shutout.
No individual results for the meet were provided to the Messenger or available online as of Monday’s print deadline.
Bloomer/Colfax will begin tournament action this Saturday, February 3 when it travels to Neillsville for this year’s Cloverbelt Conference tournament which includes 10 conference schools. The WIAA tournament series then gets underway the following Saturday, February 10, with super regionals. The Raptors will compete in the Division 2 competition at Medford High School.
