BOYCEVILLE — The 22nd Annual Boyceville “Spirit of Christmas” celebration takes place this Saturday, December 9.
The “Best Decorated House” and the “Best Decorated Business” will be judged on Friday, December 8, at 7 p.m.
The Golden Ornament Treasure Hunt, sponsored by the Boyceville Community Action Club, will have clues posted on the Boyceville CAC Facebook page.
The prize for the Golden Ornament Treasure Hunt is $100.
Bingo will be played at Buck-Shots on Main Street at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Music at Buck-Shots will be by Joe G. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A craft and vendor sale will be held at Tiffany Creek Elementary from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
A variety of activities will be held at the Boyceville Ambulance Station (504 Race Street) on Saturday.
The Mission Restore Hope Craft Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Boyceville Lions Club will be hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Lions Club will serve pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice, and Santa Claus will be there for photographs.
A chili feed sponsored by the Boyceville Ambulance Service will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church (1039 Nordveien Drive) also will be sponsoring “Spirit of Christmas” activities.
A silent auction and a lefse and bake sale will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Boyceville Public Library (903 Main Street) will be the site of Christmas Central from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cookie decorating and ornament making will be sponsored by the Boyceville Public Library, Shear-N-Style and What’s Your Scoop.
Peoples State Bank will be serving cookies, hot cocoa and cider.
A bonfire and Smores will be held at Boyceville United Methodist Church (804 St. John Street) at 4 p.m.
Main Street in Boyceville will be the location for a variety of activities.
At 4:30 p.m. will be the Live Nativity Scene, sponsored by the Boyceville Ministerial Association.
The Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree will take place at 5 p.m.
The Christmas tree is compliments of Boyceville United Methodist Church.
The Lighted Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Boyceville Lions Club, will start at 5 p.m.
Following the parade, the Love Lanterns will be released.
The Love Lanterns are being coordinated by the Boyceville Community Action Club and will be in honor of and in memory of loved ones as well as Love Lanterns for military honors.
