SUPERIOR — Taking on a pair of former conference opponents from their time in the Heart O’ North, the Bloomer/Colfax Raptor wrestlers split a pair of duals hosted at Superior Senior High School Thursday, January 6.
Bloomer/Colfax took care of business in their dual with host Superior Spartans as the Raptors posted a 48-33 victory but were soundly defeated, 66-12, by the state-ranked Northwestern Tigers.
The Raptors, 4-5 overall but 2-0 in Cloverbelt action, hosted the Stanley-Boyd Orioles in a conference dual in Colfax last evening (Tuesday, January 11) for Parents’ Night and will be in Ladysmith on Saturday, January 15 for a multi-school invitational.

The Raptors other pins were turned in by Alex Poirier (138), Bowen Rothbauer (160), Ethan Rubenzer (170), Samy Espinal (220), and James McElroy (126).
