Free airplane rides available at Boyceville Municipal Airport
BOYCEVILLE — Free airplane rides will be available at the Boyceville Municipal Airport this Saturday.
EAA Chapter 631 will host Young Eagle flights for youth eight to 17 years old (weather permitting) at the Boyceville Municipal Airport on Saturday, July 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The airport is located at 735 Airport Camp Park Drive in Boyceville.
At the event, pilots will explain how airplanes work and how they prepare for the safety of flight. Following the flight, each participant will receive a logbook and Young Eagle certificate. Their name will also be entered into the World’s largest logbook at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, WI.
A parent or guardian must accompany the youth in order to sign the permission form for flight. Preregistration is required at: https://youngeaglesday.org. COVID-19 precautions will be observed.
