Dunn County also gave the incumbent President Donald Trump the most votes in the November 3rd election by a count of 13,176 to 9,909. Only the City of Menomonie favored Joe Biden in unofficial balloting with Biden collecting 3,879 votes in the City of Menomonie and Trump with 2,983.
Incumbent Congressman Ron Kind was elected to his 13th term as Congressman from Wisconsin’s Third district, collecting 199,798 to his Republican opponent, Derrick Van Orden’s 188,825. But Dunn County voters favored the Republican candidate Van Orden by a count of 12,618 to 10,678.
For State Senator in the Tenth District Rob Stafsholt outpolled incumbent Patty Schachtner, 5,886 to 4,929. For the 67th Assembly District, Dunn County voters gave incumbent Robert Summerfield 5,754 to his Democratic challenger, Chris Kapsner with 3,550.
In Assembly District number 75, which includes the Town of New Haven in Dunn County and the Town of Forest in St. Croix County. Here Forest gave Republican David Armstrong 282 votes to John C. Ellenson with 88. In New Haven, Ellenson collected 125 votes while Armstrong got 249.
