The St. Croix County 4-H Leaders Association has honored seven local high school graduates with 2020 scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to 4-Her’s based on demonstrated personal growth, development and leadership, academic performance, community engagement, and future educational goals. Congratulations to these outstanding young adults.
This year’s scholarship recipients include:
2020 St. Croix County 4-H Scholarship Winners
• Erika Emerson of Dry Run Go Getters 4-H Club. Erika will be attending UW-Madison, double majoring in Biochemistry & Spanish.
• Matthew Harle of Riverside 4-H Club. Matthew will be attending Iowa State University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• MacKenzie Korent of Rolling Hills 4-H Club. MacKenzie will be attending the University of Southern California, majoring in Business. MacKenzie was also the recipient of a 2020 Wisconsin 4-H Scholarship.
• Nicholas Lenz of Rolling Hills 4-H Club. Nicholas will be attending UW-River Falls, majoring in Animal Science & Vet Tech.
• Claudia Lentz of Riverside4-H Club. Claudia will be attending the Moler Barber School in St. Paul, MN.
• Brianna Mikla of Baldwin Wide Awake 4-H Club. Brianna will be attending UW-LaCrosse, majoring in Elementary Education or Exercise Science.
2020 St. Croix County 4-H Tom Dorsey Scholarship Winner
• Jared Dobberstein of Lone Pine 4-H Club. Jared will be attending UW– Stevens Point, majoring in Wildlife Ecology.
