BARABOO — The Wisconsin Holstein Association has named Mae Buttles a 2020 Wisconsin Holstein Association Scholarship recipient. Buttles is the 17-year-old daughter of Tim Buttles and Bonnie Walters of Wilson, Wisconsin. She is currently a senior at the Glenwood City High School with plans to run for Wisconsin State FFA Office and then attend the Iowa State University to major in agriculture business.
Buttles is involved in FFA, volleyball, basketball, her local 4-H club, and the National Honors Society. Her goal is to find a profession that forms a mix of marketing and business strategies with the dairy industry. She also plans to develop a selective herd of registered Holsteins to milk and show.
Buttles is among 16 outstanding individuals that have received scholarships from the Wisconsin Holstein Association this year.
