GLENWOOD CITY Middle School band members attend honors festival. The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Bands hosted the 4th Annual Middle School Honors Band Festival on Thursday, January 30th at the Pablo Center. This festival featured over 300 7th and 8th grade musicians from throughout the upper midwest. 2020 Glenwood City participants were Aryanna Lee (flute), Lyra Ketola (clarinet), Kiley Leduc (clarinet), Genna Gretzlock (oboe), Kloe Dahl (trumpet), Ryeah Oehlke (horn), Kyra Dahl (horn), Charlie Lamb (trombone), Sydney Grant (percussion), and Ilan Anderson (percussion). The guest conductors of the festival were Mrs. Connie Root (Hudson), Mr. Eric Songer (Chaska, MN), and Dr. John Stewart (UWEC). — photo submitted
