7 Dunn County Board incumbents file non-candidacy for April 7 election

MENOMONIE — Out of the 29 supervisors on the Dunn County Board up for election April 7, seven incumbents have filed a notification of non-candidacy with the Dunn County clerk as of the December 27 deadline.
The remaining incumbents on the Dunn County Board as well as any other candidates who wish to run against the incumbents or who wish to run for the seats of incumbents who have filed non-candidacy forms have until 5 p.m. January 7 to file their nomination papers with the Dunn County clerk.
If there are more than two candidates for any position on the Dunn County Board, a primary will be held February 18.
Here are the county board supervisors who will not be seeking re-election in April:
• District 13 — John Rocco Calabrese (Menomonie) (non-candidacy form filed December 23, 2019).
• District 14 — Teresa Lyall (Menomonie) (non-candidacy form filed December 2, 2019).
• District 16 — Robin Sweeny (Menomonie) (non-candidacy form filed December 5, 2019).
• District 20 — Mary S. Solberg (Menomonie) (non-candidacy form filed December 13, 2019).
• District 25 — Elton J. Christopherson (Elk Mound) (non-candidacy form filed December 19, 2019).
• District 27 — Dale Harschlip (Mondovi) (non-candidacy form filed December 26, 2019).
• District 29 — Gary Seipel (Eau Galle) (non-candidacy form filed November 26, 2019).
Colfax
Lynn Niggemann, village administrator-clerk-treasurer, reported that as of the deadline, none of the incumbents up for election on the Colfax Village Board have filed non-candidacy forms.
Incumbent trustees who will be up for election April 7 are Carey Davis, Mark Halpin and Margaret Burcham.
Incumbents and other candidates for the Colfax Village Board, the Colfax Board of Education, the Elk Mound Village Board and the Elk Mound Board of Education have until 5 p.m. January 7 to file their nomination papers with the appropriate clerk.
If there are more than two candidates for any village board position or school board position, a primary will be held February 18.
Colfax school board
William C. Yingst Jr., district administrator, reported that as of the deadline, none of the incumbents up for election on the Colfax Board of Education have filed non-candidacy forms.
Incumbent school board members who will be up for election April 7 are Kenneth Bjork, Christie Hill and Jodi Kiekhafer.
Elk Mound
Pat Hahn, village clerk-treasurer, reported that as of the deadline, none of the incumbents up for election on the Elk Mound Village Board have filed non-candidacy forms.
Incumbent village trustees who will be up for election April 7 are Greg Kipp, Rebecca Livingston and Paula Turner.
EM school board
Eric Wright, district administrator, reported that as of the deadline, none of the incumbents up for election on the Elk Mound Board of Education have filed non-candidacy forms.
Incumbent school board members who will be up for election April 7 are Mark Cedarblade, Patrick Rhude and Timothy Sivertson.
