SQUIRRELS, SQUIRREL AWAY BUTTERNUTS in the engine compartment of this vehicle that David Bischel uses as a snowplow. Bischel was attempting to start the vehicle at his Downing business and found the butternuts. He noted that he put the nuts on the ground so the squirrels can find another place to store their winter food supply. —photo submitted
