Colfax ladies golf fighting to move out of last place in CloverCroix

EAU CLAIRE — The Lady Vikes golf team was in Eau Claire at the Princeton Valley Golf Course last Thursday afternoon, September 19, for a conference match where the Colfax finished in last place.
Osseo-Fairchild/Fall Creek took first in the CloverCroix Conference meet with 185 and Regis/Altoona finished in second with 203 strokes. Flambeau was third with 218 points followed by Stanley-Boyd at 237 and Colfax with 264.
Abby DeMoe finished in second place on the individual scoreboard on Thursday with a score of 43, which was seven strokes off first place which went to Ariel Heuer of Osseo-Fairchild with a 36.
Senior Morgan Schleusner fell to tenth place with 52 strokes. Schleusner was only one stroke off her score from last week on Colfax’s home course at Whitetail Golf Course.
Colfax’s third and fourth golfers, Hannah Lemler and Lillie Hayden, finished in 17th and 24th place respectively with scores of 61 and 108.
