MENOMONIE — The 101st annual alumi association of Dunn County School of Agriculture and Domestic Ecomoy, better known as Dunn County Aggies, met on Sunday, September 15 at The Moose Lodge in Menomonie with 85 attendants.
The school closed in 1957, so we have many loyal students who want this group to continue as long as possible.

The oldest attendee was Carorol Beguhn who would have graduated in 1943. He went to Aggie the first two years of high school, then transferred to Menomonie High where he graduated. He likes our fellowship and continues to come back to our reunion.
The oldest Aggie graduate was John Trainor who graduated in 1944, one of our honored classes.
The next honored class was with Lenora Knutson Wollum, Audrey Owens Samplawski, and Letty Lou Trainor Duffy.
The next honored class was 1954 and included Emily Holzhueter Duesterbeck, Janet Frank Close, Eileen Kothlow Stark, Jeanne Alf Leff, Don Holzhueter, Dave Fregine, and Ron Singerhouse.
The meeting was called to order. President Lois Sipple read the names of people attending, then secretary-treasurer, Marvin Olson read the minutes of the last meeting and also the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as read. Our copresident, Cal Christianson, passed away and Don Olson volunteered to take the position.
The list of the graduates that passed away during the year were Grace Harrison Kent and Robert Guptill, both class of 1940, Deloris Miller Kopp, Shirley Vennes Rasmussen, and Martin Knutson, all from class of 1944, Robert Miller, class of 1948, Gerald Weber, class of 1949, Shirley Koolmo Neisinger, class of 1953, Jerry Simonson and Don Vasey, both class of 1955, Cal Christianson, class of 1957, and Harold Jensen. A delicious dinner was prepared and served by The Ladies of the Moose.
Our next reunion will be Saturday, (note change of day) September 19, 2020.
Anyone who attended Aggie, but did not graduate is welcome to attend. You can contact Marvin Olson, Lois Sipple, or Don Olson.
