In July the 22ers held our monthly meeting at Irvine Park. After our meeting we had an insider’s zoo tour. The zoo tour featured all of the animals and what thier names are and their foods and about where they hibernate and some things that could be dangerous as a zoo keeper. We also got a behind the scenes tour! The club got root beer floats and had fun yard games to play with.
Fair season is over with the Dunn County Fair wrapping up last week. Our club was in charge of the Pie and Ice Cream Social to raise money to send 4-H members throughout the county to camp.
Our club has plans for a camp out at the Harders August 9-11th with plans to float the Red Cedar River! We’re hoping for great weather!
Interested in joining 4-H and joining in all our fun? Come check it out at our next meeting on Sunday August 18th at 6 PM at the Grapevine Senior Center! See you there!
