The Colfax Police Department had 67 calls for service in June, including 44 traffic stops.
Here are the calls for service:
• Assist other agency – 5 (alarm in Elk Mound; injured deer; assist with OWI; car fire; water rescue).
• Ambulance assist – 1.
• 911 Misdial/hangup – 3.
• Theft – 1 (theft of door).
• Suspicion – 5 (late night vehicle in parking lot x 2; suspicious noise in area; loud arguing heard; vehicle was “egged”).
• Lost/found – 1 (wallet found at fairgrounds).
• Civil – 1 (roommate disagreement).
• Juvenile – 2 (curfew violation; student brought weapon to school).
• Traffic complaints – 3 (erratic driver; parking complaints x 2).
