The 2019 Church Singers Chorus from the Dunn County Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society sang their arrangement of Spiritual/Gospel music for the worshiping congregations of 7 area churches in Menomonie on Sunday morning, July 14.
The participating churches were Christ Lutheran, United Methodist, Peace Lutheran, Our Saviors Lutheran, First Congregational United Church of Christ, Grace Episcopal, and St. Joseph Catholic.
The July 14 visit by the Church Singers Chorus to the Menomonie area is the second of three summer performances that were scheduled for the summer of 2019. On August 11, the singers will be performing in the Bloomer area churches.
The Barbershop Church Singers Chorus is made up of male singers from through out the Chippewa Valley area who have been meeting on Tuesday evenings in Colfax for rehearsals. They enjoy the great musical experience in 4 part a cappella harmony while providing a great community service.
The Dunn County Chapter of Barbershop Harmony invites all male singers who enjoy singing to join us.
