Colfax FBLA members showed outstanding performance at the 65th Annual FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Green Bay on April 8-9. This conference brings together over 200 high school FBLA chapters and 2300 students from throughout the state to compete in written tests, skills events, and performance events. The top 21 people from regional level of competitions held in February advanced to the state competitions for all schools combined. Colfax FBLA members placed in the top 8 in the preliminary rounds on April 8 and advanced into the final rounds on April 9.
Receiving recognition at the awards program on April 9 were Drew Gibson, for 7th place in Intro to Public Speaking, Taylor Meyer for 5th place in Spreadsheet Applications; Edward Doerr for 5th place in Computer Applications, and Mitchell Reisdorf for 3rd place in Mobile Application Development. Mitchell qualified for the national competition to be held in San Antonio, Texas, in June. The Colfax FBLA chapter adviser is Kara Zutter.
