HUDSON— Scott Knudson defeated his opponent Marion Shaw in Tuesday’s, November 6, election to begin his first elected term as the St. Croix County Sheriff.
He began his career in law enforcement 23 years ago when he was hired by Paul Burch to work for the jail, before spending the previous six years as Chief Deputy of St. Croix County.
Knudson was sworn in as sheriff by former Governor Scott Walker in July of 2017 when Sheriff John Shilts had resigned the position.
Knudson received 29,567 of the votes over Shaw who received only 7,507 of the votes for sheriff.
