INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Six Glenwood City FFA members had the opportunity to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for the National FFA Convention and Expo on October 24-27!
Members attending from the Glenwood City chapter were Jacob Obermueller, Mae Buttles, Alexys Curvello, Aubrey Curvello, Ashlee Peterson and William Eggert.
The trip was packed full of fun times and great experiences for this group of young leaders.
Traveling down to the convention, the GC group toured Fair Oaks Dairy. Fair Oaks is one of the premier destinations for Agritoursim in the Midwest with thousands of acres, thousands of cows, and thousands of learning experiences. Students witnessed the gift of life in the birthing barn as two new calves were added to the herd while they were present.
While at convention, students got to interact with colleges and industry leading companies from all over the country as well as FFA members from every corner of every state!
Students witnessed the wonderful world of hypnosis with Jim Wand and took in an incredible concert by none other than Garth Brooks! President Donald Trump was also a guest speaker.
This year’s experience in Indiana was a great one and students look forward to next year’s trip!
