GLENWOOD CITY — The Glenwood City school board approved the hiring of three new employees last week.

The board’s usual January 22 meeting was cancelled due to inclement weather, but there was still some business to be taken care of. The body scheduled a special meeting held January 30 for the express purpose of holding a closed session to discuss and act on hiring three new employees.

District administrative assistant Christa Edin later reported the board approved hiring Carrie Bartos and Parker Gaustad as custodial staff, and Carrie Blanchard as an administrative assistant.

The next Glenwood City School Board meeting will be held February 12 at 6:30 p.m. [/emember_protected]
