[emember_protected] Residents had a busy Sunday with Catholic communion, Christ the King Church, and the Menonite Singers on Sunday evening. The weekends certainly are much more fun with all our wonderful volunteers. The residents said the singing was great.

Monday was manicure day, and the baking club whipped up some homemade cinnamon rolls, which they baked up and had for their afternoon snack. What a treat!

We had a big crowd for Holy Cross church services with Pastor Jonathan on Tuesday morning. Our residents really enjoy his services. Church was followed by Live to be Healthy, and in the afternoon the residents made turkeys from pine cones and feathers to adorn their tables for Thanksgiving.

The American Legion Auxiliary hosted Bingo on Wednesday afternoon, and gave out some great patriotic prizes. They will come again around Memorial Day. Thanks to Darlene, Dolly and Jean for a great job.

Live to be Healthy got everyone going on Thursday morning, and in the afternoon, our dietary director did her monthly social, this month with an aviation theme in honor of Veteran’s Day. Airplane treats were served, and the residents made and flew paper airplanes off the top level railing, down to the bottom level. Teresa Miller flew her plane the furthest. Congrats, Teresa!

Friday was popcorn day, and in the afternoon we had a couple of student visitors who came over after Grandparents Day at the school. Colton and Ella Berends played Candy Land and Shaker Box with the residents and enjoyed cookies and cocoa afterwards. Thanks, kids! They were a great help to Gramma.

Rudy Rudesill was here for music on Saturday afternoon.
