Using FamilySearch’s familiy tree and memories to help in your research

The St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society meeting will be held on March 16th at 7:00 p.m. at the River Falls Public Library.

At this meeting, Kim Ashford will discuss the valuable resources Family Tree and Memories of the free FamilySearch website. FamilyTree is a place where you can build your family tree, search for family trees, and add to existing family trees. Memories is a place where you can store your photos, stories, and documents to be shared with others.

Kim has spent over 15 years researching her family history. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Family History from Brigham Young University. She just finished two terms as President of the Germanic Genealogy Society (St. Paul, Minnesota) and is an assistant director at her local Family History Center.

The March 16th St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. in the main floor meeting room of the River Falls Public Library. This meeting is open to the public. If you have any questions, contact Darcy at 715-307-5149.
