River Valley Ford and Ford Motor Company donates $6,000 to Glenwood City Recreation as part of Drive 4 UR Community
River Valley Ford recently awarded a $6,000 donation to representatives from Glenwood City Recreation as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program. On hand to receive the donation were Glenwood City Rec board representatives Brent and Sally Standaert, and Shannon and Dean Fayerweather.
The dealership generated 300 test drives, and each drive was worth a $20 donation.
Said River Valley Ford owner Andy Lamb, “Drive 4 UR Community allows our dealership to award a significant donation right to the kids in the communities we serve. We’re very proud to represent Ford Motor Company in Western Wisconsin”.
Drive 4 UR Community began in 2007 as a way for Ford to give back to communities across the country. The idea was simple: Test-drive a Ford vehicle from a local dealership, get money for your community. In total Ford has donated over $35 Million since 2007.
