Downsville Lodge No. 196 I.O.O.F. placed on the State Register of Historic Places

The Wisconsin Historical Society placed the Downsville Lodge No. 196 I.O.O.F. (Town of Dunn, Dunn County) on the State Register of Historic Places.

The Downsville Lodge No. 196 I.O.O.F. was built in 1908.  This building served as the local headquarters of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows fraternal organization.

The State Register is Wisconsin’s official list of state properties determined to be significant to Wisconsin’s heritage. The Division of Historic Preservation and Public History at the Wisconsin Historical Society administers both the National Register and State Register in Wisconsin.
