Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 7-22-2016

It’s hard to believe the fair has already come and gone. August will be here soon enough! Since it was too hot for our residents to be at the fair, our Activity department set up fair games here at Glenhaven. The residents had a blast!

There were fair themed treats and drinks to enjoy as well. This week on Monday baking club made yellow cake batter cookies. Yum! If you like cake and also cookies, then these are the cookies for you! On Tuesday we celebrated July birthdays by having a sing-a-long with Jane and Friends. The residents truly enjoy the sing-a-long and always look forward to it! On Wednesday we will have bingo at 2:00 p.m. hosted by the St. John’s Catholic church. On Thursday the cooking club will be making a delicious summer salad. The weekend entertainment for Saturday will be Steven Szydel at 2:00 p.m.
