Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 5-11-2016

This week we celebrated all of those wonderful mothers out there with a special Mother’s Day lunch on Monday.

It was a fun-filled day that began with manicures done by the talented ladies from Hair Company and Spa and ended with entertainment by Steven Szydel. Thank you to everyone that helped make our Mother’s Day celebration special!

This week is also National Nursing Home week! Every day we have been dressing up in different colors and also celebrating a particular country. Monday was Italy, Tuesday was China and Wednesday is the USA. There will be a staff and resident picnic on Wednesday followed by bingo in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday we will celebrate Mexico and the residents will get their opportunity to hit the piñata! On Friday the country will be Germany and one of the treats for social hours is pretzels and cheese. Our week ends Saturday with some good entertainment and music by Rudy Rudesill starting at 2:00 p.m.
