Sunnyside Shamrocks hold 4-H Meeting

The Sunnyside Shamrocks met on January 24th at 5:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Glenwood City.

We held a brief meeting to go over any new business such as things coming up in the new Communicator online. We have club members that are going to the February 13th Mini Talent Explosion at the Baldwin Agriculture Extension office. We have a skit/drama, Cloverbuds giving the pledge and a few members doing speeches and demonstrations. We discussed old business and then went on to have our speech night. Members 4th grade and older gave speeches or demonstrations. Members 3rd grade and younger did some projects and mini speeches. We came back together at the end for good food and to talk about our next meeting on February 21st. We are learning how to use Lego robotics that we are borrowing from the Extension office. We will also be tying lap quilts for Glenhaven and a local hospital. We are always looking for new members, so come and check us out at our next meeting in February.
