Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 2-10-2016
This week the residents had their usual manicures on Monday with Doris. The residents enjoy being pampered and getting their nails done before Valentine’s Day.
They also baked peanut butter cookies that afternoon. The residents worked on some arts and crafts that afternoon, and made decorations for Valentines Day. On Wednesday morning there will be Ash Wednesday Service with Holy Cross Lutheran Church and in the afternoon there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. with Holy Cross Lutheran Church and will give the residents a chance to bolster their quarter funds. On Thursday afternoon there will be cooking club and Potato Ham Chowder is on the menu along with decorating cakes for the Valentine’s Day Party on Friday. On Friday the residents will have Catholic Mass and in the afternoon will be having a Valentine’s Day Party with entertainment from Sing-A-Long with Jane and Friends, Glenhaven Royalty Crowning to follow and Valentine’s Day Cake to be had. Saturday’s activities include music entertainment by Quinton Kase starting at 2:00 p.m. Some activities for next week include bingo on Wednesday, February 17th, Student Council Visits on Thursday, February 18th, and entertainment by Herb Nazer on Saturday, February 20th.
