Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 1-20-2016

This week the residents had their usual exercises on Monday with Doris.

The residents find that by keeping their bodies moving, it helps keep the chill from the cold away. The ladies were able to get their nails ready for the week by getting manicures on Monday as well. Forest Immanuel Lutheran church came on Tuesday and gave a nice sermon for the residents. On Wednesday there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. and will give the residents a chance to bolster their quarter funds. On Thursday the Glenwood City Student Council will be stopping in to spend time and play games with the Glenhaven and Havenwood residents. On Thursday afternoon there will be cooking club and vegetable beef soup is on the menu. On Friday the residents will be able to exercise once more for the week and in the afternoon will be playing the classic game of shuffleboard. Saturday’s activities include music entertainment by Rich Schroeder starting at 2:00 p.m. Some of the major activities for next week include the monthly birthday party on Tuesday, January 26th, bingo with St. John’s on Wednesday, January 27th and entertainment by Melody Moments on Saturday, January 30th.
