Baldwin Area Medical Center welcomes Dr. Dennis Hartung

Baldwin Area Medical Center (BAMC) is excited to announce that Dennis Hartung has joined the medical staff. He is an OB-GYN that began seeing patients at BAMC starting on January 4, 2016. 

Dr. Hartung cares for women from the conception to the birth of their babies, through prenatal, delivery and postpartum care. Dr. Hartung is well known in the area for his respectful care and down-to-earth bedside manner. He is focused on empowering every woman to honor her birth journey. He also offers well woman and gynecologic care, including:

• High-risk obstetrics

• Infertility evaluation and treatment

• Urinary incontinence treatment

• Pelvic reconstructive surgery

• Gynecological disease evaluation, treatment and surgical care

Dr. Hartung lives in Hudson, Wisconsin with his wife Linda and has three adult children. Dr. Hartung is retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years on active duty. He is a flutist and during his enlistment in the army was in the Army Band Program. In his free time, Dr. Hartung enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking, gardening, and music.

Dr. Dennis Hartung attended medical school at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. His residency/internship was completed at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hartung takes a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, infertility evaluation and treatment, urinary incontinence, pelvic reconstructive surgery, OB-GYN sonography, gynecological disease evaluation, treatment and surgical care.
