Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 12-16-2015

Last week’s activities included Catholic communion, the making of Christmas decorations for the residents’ doors by the Hay River Helpers, the Care Tree lighting, Ernie Severson’s 100th birthday party, manicures, the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends, bingo with Holy Cross and entertainment by Rudy Rudesill.

This week on Sunday the residents were visited by the Forest Timberwolves. On Tuesday there was church with Forest Immanuel. On Wednesday there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday the Student Council will be visiting with the residents. On Saturday Herb Nazer will be here to entertain with some music. Next week on Monday, December 21st the 4K will be here to sing some Christmas carols at 1:30 p.m. On Tuesday, December 22nd there will be church with United Methodist at 10:30 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. the 4K will be back to sing more Christmas carols. On Wednesday, December 23rd there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday, December 24th there will be a candlelight church service with Holy Cross at 10:00 a.m. followed by a family meal. At 2:00 p.m. the same day the Blue Sky Musicians will be here to entertain. On Friday, December 25th the residents will be celebrating Christmas and opening Secret Santa gifts! On Saturday, December 26th there will be accordion music by Diane Petranovich at 2:00 p.m.

Hannah Rubusch was visited by Elaine Grutt. Teresa Miller was visited by Tom and Mary Miller and Bob Miller. Eleanor Heutmaker was visited by Marlene Kerr and Bunny Teigen. Jim Schmidt was visited by Mike Wurtzler and Breckon. Delaney Mattison was visited by Ken and Anissa Mattison. Bill Hoffman was visited by Dave Hoffman.
