Glenhaven Happenings – 12-9-2016

Last week some of the activities included church with Trinity Lutheran, Resident Council, manicures, Christmas decorating, cookie baking, bingo with Forest Methodist and music by Steven Szydel. This week on Sunday was the Care Tree Lighting celebration.

On Tuesday there was the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends and also the Heutmaker Band. On Wednesday there will be bingo with Holy Cross at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday there will be entertainment by Rudy Rudesill at 2:00 p.m. Next week on Sunday, December 13th the Forest Timberwolves 4-H group will be coming in to do an activity with the residents at 2:00 p.m. At 3:30 p.m. the same day there will be church with Christ the King Lutheran. On Monday, December 14th there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. On Tuesday, December 15th there will be church with Forest Immanuel at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, December 16th there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 19th there will be caroling by the West Akers church at 9:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. there will be music by Herb Nazer.

Norman Carey was visited by Steph, Dayna and Jim Prokop. Annella Frank was visited by Char and Raquel Gregor, Diane Klatt and Marilyn Olson. Teresa Miller and Gladys Best were visited by Jeanne Van Doorn. Eleanor Heutmaker was visited by Lavon Banks, Mary Lapp and Galen Heutmaker. Carol Kolkind was visited by Cyrena, Joe Correll, Carla Spedevick, Sue, Sten and Chris. Ruth Huber was visited by Wanda and Brad Enter. Mary Smith was visited by Shirley Stone.
