Double deer crash
Chuck Gordon and his wife Rose were heading to their Downing home Sunday evening. At about 7 p.m. they were a half-mile north of Highway 12 on Highway 128 when they struck a female deer.
A short time later they had turned off Highway 128 on to County Road G when a buck ran into their 2004 Jeep Liberty causing more damage. Neither Chuck or Rose were injured by the deer/vehicle accident.
Damage to the Jeep is more than $5,000. It was just last May that Chuck’s Liberty was also damaged by the deer hit.
