MENOMONIE — The 19th Annual Cooperative Breakfast recently took place on October 3, at Dunn Energy Cooperative and was deemed a huge success by event partners Cedar Country Cooperative, Dunn Energy Cooperative, Royal Credit Union, West Wisconsin Telcom and WESTconsin Credit Union.
The event attracted 1,069 attendees who enjoyed a hearty breakfast featuring Dad’s Belgian Waffles, sausage links, coffee, milk and juice. Planning committee members extend their appreciation to volunteers who helped with set up, serving and clean up duties, and to those who donated cash and food items to benefit Stepping Stones of Dunn County. Over $900 and 1,500 pounds of food were collected and given to the local non-profit organization to help those in need. Stepping Stones is currently serving approximately 60 households per day, six days a week.
