Card of Thanks – Rustic Lore Days Committee – 9-23-2015
Another Rustic Lore Days celebration is over and it’s time to start saying our thank yous. We are especially grateful to Jack & Marian Schmitz for accepting the honor of 2015 Grand Marshals and helping us celebrate the Sound of Music in the 57 Hills!
To the 2014-15 Miss GC Court – Queen Allison Curvello, Princess Marne Lewis and Princess Ashley Holmquist – thanks for doing a great job of representing our community for the past year. Congratulations to the new court – Queen Julie McNamara, Princess Kaylie Krueger and Princess McKenzie Kuehl. Have a fun year filled with lifelong memories!
Thanks to the GC area businesses who helped out with the selling of raffle tickets and to everyone who purchased them! The money from the sale of the tickets is essential for the continuation of our celebration, so we appreciate everyone who supports us in this way.
To Jim and Janene Meisser and the employees of Hiawatha National Bank – our greatest appreciation for the kick-off picnic. Thank you to the Rods & Rides Car Club and to car owners from near and far for participating in the car show. We’d like to acknowledge Elle Wood for all the hard work she puts into the Brenda Cassellius-Wink Kickball Tournament. Thanks to all of the kick-ballers who gave up their Saturday to play and help contribute to this great cause. Thank you to all the local community organizations that hosted various events or had food stands. Your contributions all added to the success of the weekend. Thank you to our countless volunteers that help with the dances and the parade, with set-up and tear down. We appreciate our family and friends that are coerced into helping – you know who you are!! Special thanks to Dr. Lance Albrightson, Family ChiroCare for the use of his property and electricity for the dances.
