GLENWOOD CITY — More than a hundred classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors took part in the 11th annual Glen Hills Rods and Rides Car Show held Saturday, September 12 on Glenwood City’s Oak Street during the Rustic Lore celebration.
Several of the attendees earned trophies with two of the top three awards going to Glenwood City area people.
Garrett Bonte of Glenwood City won the Peoples’ Choice in the car category for his 1931 Ford Model A; Rick Bonte of Downing took home the Peoples’ Choice award for motorcycles with his 2004 Harley Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Deuce; and Jackie LaFave of River Falls was the Mayor’s Choice winner with her 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28.
Club Choice trophy winners included Roger Klinger for his 1949 Panhead motorcycle; Rob and Deb Bystrom, 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer; Steve McMartom, 1966 Pontiac GTO; Jack Blaschko, 1941 Plymouth pick-up; and John Buhr, 1940 Chevy half-ton truck.

Rick Bonte and Roger Klinger took “Best of Show” in the motorcycles category.
Bonte showed a 2004 Harley Davidson Screamin’ Eagle and Klinger exhibited a 1949 Panhead.
