GLENWOOD CITY — With the summer quickly winding down, chamber organizers are feeling the crunch if the Centennial Mural Wall is to be repaired and repainted this year. Two things are needed: financial contributions to help cover the cost and pictures of the people on the wall.
The money is for obvious reasons as one half of the total cost needs to be paid upfront and the remainder once the mural is complete. The pictures are to help the artist make sure the wall resembles the people as closely as possible. Thanks to John and Jordan at Logghe Trucking for donating the use of their lift. This will save about $1800 from the cost of renting this equipment. Please contact either Joan Bartz at 715-265-4453 or Shawn DeWitt at 715-265-4646 to make a donation or for more information.
