Pierce Co. Fair receives $1,000 grant from DuPont Pioneer for improvements

ELLWORTH – The Pierce County Fair is pleased to announce that DuPont Pioneer donated $1,000 toward improvements for the fairgrounds.

The grant will specifically be used to assist in purchasing barriers for the grandstand area.  Pioneer sales representative Chris Edgar with Edgar Seed in Ellsworth sponsored the grant.

“The county fair is a time when our community comes together and we hope this grant will help enhance the fair experience,” said Edgar.

“We want to thank DuPont Pioneer for the grant, which will assist with improvements we plan to make on the fairgrounds so our more than 40,000 annual visitors can enjoy the fair,” said Ann Webb, the Pierce County Fair Manager.
