Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 5-13-2015

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, exercises, manicures, arts and crafts, church with Trinity Lutheran, Resident Council, bingo, baking club and entertainment by Rudy Rudesill. This week the residents will be celebrating National Nursing Home Week.

On Monday there was a Mother’s Day Luncheon and the residents were able to be their nails done by Hair Company and Spa. There was also entertainment by John Terkelson. On Tuesday there was church with Holy Cross in the morning and music by the Heutmaker Band in the afternoon. On Wednesday there will be bingo with Holy Cross at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday there will be student council visits at 10:00 a.m. On Friday the residents will be having a fiesta. On Saturday there will be bingo with the Connorsville Comets. Next week on Tuesday, May 19th there will be church with United Methodist at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, May 20th there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 23rd there will be music by Fritz at 2:00 p.m.

Jim Schmidt was visited by Rick and Irene Schmidt and Rose and John Wurtzler. Eleanor Heutmaker was visited by Bunny Teigen, Lavon Banks, Janet and Duane Christianson and Kathy Maes.
