Boyceville High School places first in Quiz Bowl Competition

Quiz Bowl is a game of questions and answers from a wide variety of categories.  The game is played a lot like the TV game show Jeopardy. The categories include literature, history, science, math, social sciences, fine arts, geography, religion, cooking, mythology, philosophy, pop culture, and general knowledge.

The high school Quiz Bowl team had a successful season of competition against Barron High School and Prairie Farm High School.  Boyceville took 1st place for the 2015 Quiz Bowl Season.  The games were exciting and the students were able to display their academic integrity along with positive sportsmanship.  The students should be very proud.

The 2015 Quiz Bowl team members were seniors Abbey Bird, Lauren Klassen, Megan Bird, Hannah Jerrie, Lexi Peterson, and Jivanta Pride. Juniors were Sammi Merkel, Maddie Bygd, Katie Kegen, Ireland McAbee-Thomas, Peyton Hellmann, Nicole Bartos and Jade Yeager.  The team had one sophomore, Max Engel and the freshmen were Haley Wold, Hayley Bird, Lauryn Dominick and Hunter Holten.
