Public meeting to be held March 17 for I-94 reconstruction plans in St. Croix County

In an effort to meet growing traffic demands on I-94 in St. Croix County, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is planning to make improvements to interstate, from WIS 35 north to the US12/County U interchange. A public involvement meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hudson Middle School Cafeteria, 1300 Carmichael Road, Hudson.

Proposed improvements include constructing additional lanes between interchanges and additional ramp lanes at the WIS 35 south interchange. Construction is currently scheduled to take place in 2017.

The meeting will be an open house style meeting and WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss project plans and answer questions. The public is encouraged to attend and provide input about the project plans.
