The Rockpile – 3-4-2015

We ventured down to Watertown, Wisconsin over the weekend to bowl in the Wisconsin State Senior bowling tournament. We put approximately 26 bowlers on the alleys!!

Gary Green from Holton bowled with our gang and Gary rolled a nice 745 series. Veteran Dave Brandt who has been “Mr. Consistent” for many years, put up a 279 game and a 704 series.

Peg Obermueller and Theresa Obermueller rolled series of 605 and 572, respectively. In the Team event, Joe Walz, Dan DeLong, Peg Obermueller and myself bowled. We bowled well and so far are in 4th place in our division.

A great time was had by all!! The owners of the Watertown Bowl were awesome hosts!! Thanks Bob, Dianne and Denise!!

Brad Hoitomt put up thehigh game of the year last week on the Hometown League as Brad tossed a dandy 288 game and a 704 series. Great bowling, Brad!!

Frank Stout brought a 9-pin squad Friday night and Frank joined the “900” club as Stout bowled a 904 series to have a shot at the $1000 champion purse at the end of the tournament. Good bowling, Frank!
