Dunn-St. Croix Honors Choir and Band perform at GCHS

GLENWOOD CITY – The Dunn-St. Croix Honors Choir and Band 2015 rehearsed on Wednesday, January 28 and performed Saturday, January 31 at the Glenwood City High School.

The band was conducted by conference directors Eric MacTaggert, Nick Peters, Jamie Mills, Mike Bonn, and Matt Lamb. The choir was conducted by UW-Eau Claire’s Dr. Frank Watkins.

Students from eight schools are selected by application based on their music accomplishments and contributions to student’s own music department.

The choir selections were Haec Dies, Bright is the Ring of Words, Here Inside My Heart, Ain-a That Good News, Walk in Jerusalem. The band selections were Washington Post March, Foundry, Benediction, Flight of Valor, Highlights from Jersey Boys.
