WestCAP receives Thrivent donation

This past October WestCAP held several local challenges to help raise funds to meet a $5,000 goal. During the latest fundraiser that was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, Thrivent member Joan Bartz announced to the crowd that if WestCAP raised the needed money she would personally give an additional $250! Along with that challenge she would also be able to match the $250 with funds from her employer, Thrivent Financial, to make it a total of $500!

Final days before the challenge was to end we were still short of the needed cash to make this challenge successful. The Glenwood City Lions Club and several outside donors came in to save the day! In the very end a much larger total of $6,192.70 was raised. WestCAP is very grateful to all of the persons and organizations that helped make the challenge a huge success!
