GLENWOOD CITY – Every parent wants their child to succeed, and one of the simplest ways you can ensure your child’s academic success is by making a quick trip to the library. September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Glenwood City Public Library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card.
Resources at the Glenwood City Public Library are available to anyone who has a library card. Students can turn to the library for materials and services that support academic achievement, information literacy and life-long learning. Our library offers access to important educational resources, including online resources that students can access from home with their library card, like e-books via Wisconsin’s Digital Library, as well as online homework help and databases via BadgerLink.
For more information on how to sign up for a library card, visit the Glenwood City Public Library at 127 Pine Street in person or visit the library online at http://glenwoodcitylibrary.org.
