Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 8-6-2014

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, church with Grace Baptist, exercises, manicures, baking club, church with United Methodist, the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends, arts and crafts, gardening, fishing at Glen Hills, bingo with St. John’s and music entertainment by Rich Schroeder.

This week on Monday the residents had a picnic at Doris Berends’ house. On Tuesday there was church with Trinity Lutheran in the morning following by Resident Council and in the evening the Heutmaker Band came in and entertained. On Wednesday there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m. Next week on Sunday, August 10th there will be Catholic communion at 10:00 a.m. and at 3:30 p.m. there will be church with Christ the King Lutheran. On Tuesday, August 12th there will be church with Holy Cross at 2:00 p.m. On Wednesday, August 13th there will be bingo with Holy Cross at 2:00 p.m. On Friday, August 15th there will be entertainment by Cowboy Jim at 6:30 p.m.

Delores Standaert was visited by Loran and Barb Standaert and Sandy Caruful. Annella Frank was visited by Diane Klatt and Marilyn Olson. Etta Wiseman was visited by Char and Robin.
